The Honorable Dr . Philippa Malmgren |

The Honorable Dr. Philippa Malmgren is
the President of the Canonbury Group, a financial services company
based in London. Dr.Philippa Malmgren helps investors and business
managers better understand how the global political and policy environment
may influence prices in financial markets and the global economy.
She serves as an interpreter who explains markets to policy makers
and explains policy makers to the markets. Her clients include the
investment committees of many of the worldĄŻs largest investment banks,
fund managers and hedge funds as well as corporations. She regularly
visits with leading policy-makers among the offices of heads of government,
the boards of central banks and elected and appointed officials among
the G7 countries in order to discern how the political and policy
environment will influence prices in financial markets. Through Canonbury,
she keeps asset managers, traders and investors informed about these
policy risks to their portfolios |

| She served as an advisor on international economic issues
to George W Bush during his Presidential campaign. Then she joined
the White House and served as Special Assistant to the President for
Economic Policy on the National Economic Council. She was a member
of the President's Working Group on Financial Markets and the President's
Working Group on Corporate Governance. |

| While in the White House, she was responsible
for all financial market issues for the President, which included corporate
governance, bank regulation, Government Sponsored Enterprises, mortgages,
deposit insurance, terrorism insurance issues, anti-money laundering, and
international finance issues. She was liaison between the White House and
all the financial regulators including the Federal Reserve and the SEC.
She was assigned to the White House Office of Homeland Defense Working Group
on Terrorism Risks to the Economy. Before joining the administration, she
was President of Malmgren and Company, in London, England. |

Prior to founding her company, she was
the Deputy Head of Global Investment Strategy at UBS Warburg in London,
England. She was the Chief Currency Strategist for Bankers Trust Company.
She previously headed the Global Asset Management business for Bankers
Trust in Asia, out of Hong Kong. Prior to her career in investment banking,
she was a trade policy specialist with the Trade Policy Research Centre
in London and the OECD in Paris. |

- She has a B.A. from Mount Vernon College and an M.Sc. and a Ph.D.
from the London School of Economics. The WEF in Davos (2000) named Philippa
Malmgren a Global Leader for Tomorrow. She is a member of the Council
on Foreign Relations, the Royal Institute for International Affairs,
the Institute for International Strategic Security, The National Association
of Business Economists, and the British Institute of Directors. She
served on the Board of Advisors to the Oxford Banking Forum, Mount Vernon
College, the Aspen Institute in France and the World Economic Forum
Environment Project. She has lectured for the MIT Sloan Fellows and
at Oxford, West Point and Duke University Business School. She has been
a frequent guest on CNN, CNBC, BBC and a regular speaker at investor
and business conferences including Fortune's Most Powerful Women in
Business. She belongs to the Reform Club in London, England and the
Metropolitan Club in Washington D.C.
